Eclectic Folklore

The sound of trumpets on the place of a turnament or harps and lutes in a kings dining hall - think medieval times and fantastic beasts for choosing an application for these pattern designs.

The motifs are inspired by fantastic tales of knights and dragons and their treasure as well as medieval illuminations, like roses, vines and mounted knights from the "Codex Manesse" (14th century), and unicorns, millefleur meadows, and stars from tapestries like "The Hunt of the Unicorn" (15th century).

My Eclectic Folklore collection is made primarily for digital printing. Some come in different versions or colourways.

All ten patterns could be combined in a quilt or adorn living rooms or bed rooms as wallpaper or textile home decor.

The colourpalette is part of a collaboration by 49 designers from 9 countries, who created a total of 956 designs for the topic.

All patterns can be mixed and matched!

You can find out more information about it on Instagram (check out the account @spdcolorcollab).
